About Troy Nogosek
My name is Troy Nogosek, and I'm proud to run for Bowman County Sheriff.
I've spent over 13 years in law enforcement — hands-on, every day — protecting people and serving our communities with integrity and accountability. I hold a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's in Management, which have given me the knowledge and skills to lead effectively.
Whether on patrol, responding to calls, or working alongside fellow officers, I've seen what really makes a difference: building trust, staying fair, and doing the job right every single time.
I'm running because I'm committed to continuing that service at the highest level. Bowman County is my home, and I want to bring the same work ethic and common-sense approach I've always lived by to lead the Sheriff's Office.
Together, we can keep our county safe — Crime is a NOGO.
Building a Stronger, Safer Bowman County Together
As your next Bowman County Sheriff, my focus will be on building a stronger unified Law Enforcement team that serves every resident effectively and fairly. By strengthening the partnership between the Sheriff's Department and the Bowman Police Department, we can improve communication, share resources, and coordinate our efforts — delivering faster responses, smarter policing, and greater public safety without duplication or overreach.
I want to foster collaboration, prioritize community trust, and ensure both Sheriff Deputies and Police Officers have the support they need to protect your family and our neighborhoods in Bowman, Scranton, Rhame and all homes, barns and outbuildings in the county. Together, we can create a safer, more connected Bowman County where everyone feels secure and respected.
